EazyDraw for macOS palette controls Lines, curves, and outlines (borders) may be drawn with Arrows at ends and vertices. The parameters that control the form and shape of the arrows are found on the Arrows Panel. To show this panel select "Arrows" from the Tools Menu which is on the Main Menu. To work with these parameters select the "Appearance" Tab as shown in the example.

In order to change the "Shape of an Arrow" of a graphic(s) it must be the selected graphic in the top window of EazyDraw. If no graphic is selected the Arrow parameters on the panel represents the arrow format that will be used when creating new graphics. Either the Start or End arrow location check box must be selected to enable the Arrow Shape parameters.

There are several arrow Forms to choose from. The popup menu allows the selection of solid, open, line, dot, open dot, back slash, and X. Additional variations of these forms may be generated using the Color and Stroke parameters.

You may specify a size parameter for the arrow. The value is a length or diameter of the arrow feature.This length is measured in Fine Scale Units (inches, mm, or points) as shown by the Units Button found at the upper right hand corner of the palette. You may change the value by typing in a new number or using the slider found next the number.

You may specify an angle for the arrow forms that have angles (the dot forms do not). The angle is entered in degrees. You may change the angle by typing in a new value or using the slider.

The example to the right shows a few of the Forms that may be selected for arrows. Their form, from top to bottom, correspond to the following popup menu selections: solid, open, line, dot, open dot, back slash, and X.

Arrows may be applied to Wall or Ribbon graphics. The creation tools for these graphics are found near the bottom of the Technical tools palette. Arrows for these graphics are defined in a slightly different manner. The arrow shape actually becomes part of the end of the Wall or Ribbon graphic. There are only three of the Arrow Shapes that logically apply in these cases, Open, Swept and Open Dot. The other selections for arrow shape are disabled when a Wall or Ribbon graphic is selected.
