Tablet Line Width Limits

These two parameters are used to set limits on the line width when drawing with the stylus. If you press very hard while drawing the stroke width will increase to the maximum value specified. Similarly, a very light touch of the stylus will generate a thinner line with a width specified by the minimum value.

The values in the text boxes shown circled are entered and shown in the Units (centimeters, inches, points, ...) defined for the document on the Scale parameter panel. You may change a value by typing in a new number.

You may also change the value using the "Slider" found next the text box. As you change the slider bar the value is updated in the text box.

Set the "Min" value to the line width desired for the lightest touch of the stylus.

Set the "Max" value to the line width desired for the heaviest, or highest pressure touch of the stylus.

Enter the values in the units of the document, or use the slider to set the values as desired.

These parameter control the automatic tracking of the Width of Lines, Curves, and Outlines of a graphics when drawn with the stylus. The tablet must be enabled for these parameters to have effect.

The Action parameter needs to set to something other than "off" to enable pressure sensing of the stylus on the tablet.
