These menu selections are used to make copies of graphics. They compliment the two step process of
Copy-Paste.
These selections work only with a specific drawing, they do not duplicate between drawings.
Duplicate - Offset
makes a copy of the selected graphic (or graphics). The copy is offset down and to the right from the original. This offset is standard and not effected by previous moves as in the case of Paste after a copy. The size of the offset is fixed and cannot be changed.
Duplicate - In Place
makes a copy of the selected graphic (or graphics). The copy is placed exactly on top of the original. No offset is applied. Note that the new copy will not be distinguishable from the original. A move is required to shift the new graphic to make it visually distinguishable from the original.
Duplicate Advanced
presents a control sheet that is used to make arranged, multiple copies of a graphic. The Control Sheet allows multiple copies to be created and positioned in various array orientations. Possibilities are
Array
(rectangular),
Polar,
and
Linear
distributions. Copies may also be populated across
Layers,
if the drawing uses Layers.

Duplicate does not use or modify the Clipboard. The Clipboard is a holding area where the objects of Cut or Copy are held. The Clipboard holds the contents of only one Cut or Copy, it has no memory of previous copies, Duplicate does not interact with the Clipboard.
