Initially this command provides a confirmation sheet (see first screen shot below) with three choices. Cancel: nothing is changed, loaded, or restored. Older Version: presents a "Time Machine" screen to view and select a previous saved ( Save ) version of the drawing. Last Saved Version: the tradition Revert to Saved action, changes since last save are eliminated with a reload of the drawing file.
Time Machine Presentation:
The "Older Version" selection presents the second screen shot below. This is a "Time Machine" like presentation. If you konw how to use Time Machine to recover a file, then you can expect the same behavior here.
The current version of the drawing is shown on the left and a receding stack of previously saved versions of the drawing are found on the right. Below the stack on the right is a Time Stamp indicating when the version on the right was saved. Older versions can be viewed by clicking on the title bars in the Stack.
The right side of the screen (not shown in the screen shot below) provides a vertical time axis indicating the full history of the drawing’s revisions. Mouse over this axis to see actual dates and times corresponding to the available revisions. Click to bring a specific version to the top of the right hand stack.
Click "Done" to exit with no changes. Or click "Restore" to recover the showing (front-most) right side version of the drawing. Restore will return to the normal working screen presentation and load the recovered drawing contents.
