Retro - Support
Example of converting a Claris Draw drawing to a native EazyDraw drawing.

Mavericks Support:

EazyDraw 6 provides full support for OS X version 10.9.x (Mavericks). EazyDraw 6 will run on OS X version 10.8 (Mountain Lion) or Mavericks. EazyDraw. Take advantage of this new technology with EazyDraw’s integration of Revisions, and Full Screen mode. Learn more on the Mavericks page.

iCloud:

The EazyDraw App Store version (6.2.0, which is equivalent to the corresponding Free Market version 6.1.0) and provides support for iCloud. It is Apple's policy that only App Store programs are allowed to access the iCloud.

Gate Keeper:

Starting with Mountain Lion Apple provides your system with another layer of security with Gate Keeper. All the App Store versions of EazyDraw are automatically protected with GateKeeper. The Free Market version of EazyDraw is a "signed App" meaning that GateKeeper can determine that your version of EazyDraw is clean and may safely be used on your Mac.

64 Bit Computing:

EazyDraw 6 is a universal 32 /64 bit application. This provides native 64 bit computing on 64 bit (most) processors. As you would expect this provides high numeric accuracy (12-14 digits), but more importantly native 64 bit processing provides the maximum CPU speed.

Built For Mac OS X
EazyDraw is designed exclusively for Mac OS X, it does not run on other operating systems so your Mac experience is not limited by a lowest common denominator. Support is provided all the way back to Jaguar, yet the full capability of Mountain Lion is supported by EazyDraw 5.
EazyDraw Retro
EazyDraw Retro is provided as a complete solution across all OS X platforms. It will run on Mavericks (OS X 10.9) and older versions beginning with Tiger (OS X 10.4). The Retro version provides support for importing AppleWorks and other classic drawings, PICT support is also provided with EazyDraw Retro. EazyDraw Retro versions are sequenced as 6.0.x. EazyDraw Retro provides support for the older Power PC (PPC) processors.
Works Great With Other OS X Apps
EazyDraw is a fully OS X citizen, operating in accordance with latest specifications and OS X technology. This means that you can expect a seamless work flow between your drawing application (EazyDraw) and other applications that are based on this technology, such as Pages and Keynote.

Snow Leopard (OS X version 10.6):

Use legacy version 5.0.8 on Snow Leopard. In order to stay abreast of the rapid advances in OS X technology, the current main release of EazyDraw (5.3.1) dropped support for Snow Leopard (OS X version 10.6). The legacy version 5.0.8 is still maintained and at this writing has all the same core features as the primary version. The new enhanced input and output technology is not present in the Snow Leopard version. It is planned that this branch of EazyDraw will continue to get updates, bug fixes, and enhancements when practical. We understand that there can be several reasons why users will be running Snow Leopard for quite sometime. No need for a separate purchase, all branches of EazyDraw 5 use the same license code. Your single user license will allow you to use any mix of the different versions on the computers that you use.

Multi-Thread:

Systems with multiple CPUs offer faster computing to applications that take advantage of multi-thread computing through a Mac technology called Grand Central Dispatch (the rail-road-switch icon above). EazyDraw 6 uses this technology for behind the scenes updates as you are drawing. EazyDraw 6 uses this capability to read and write information when opening and saving drawings. This construction allows the Mac OS to use multiple CPUs to read the individual layera in parallel. Multi thread technology is important for responsive free hand drawing with the Brush and Pencil tools, EazyDraw jumps between two background CPU cores as you draw, one CPU performs massive computations while the other retrieves the next mouse (or tablet - pen) point, all this while the main CPU updates the display.

But ... still compatible with PowerPC:

EazyDraw Retro is provided as a complete solution across all OS X platforms. It will run on Mountain Lion (OS X 10.8) and older versions beginning with Tiger (OS X 10.4). The Retro version provides support for importing AppleWorks and other classic drawings, PICT support is also provided with EazyDraw Retro. EazyDraw Retro versions are sequenced as 4.0.x.

Universal - PowerPC / Intel / 32 bit / 64 bit:

EazyDraw Retro is provided as a complete solution across all OS X platforms. It will run on Lion (OS X 10.7) and older versions beginning with Tiger (OS X 10.4). The Retro version provides support for importing AppleWorks and other classic drawings, PICT support is also provided with EazyDraw Retro. EazyDraw Retro versions are sequenced as 4.0.x.
