Gradient Fill is a wonderful way to take a drawing to a more interesting appearance. EazyDraw provides a convenient user interface to a wide range of effects and styles of gradient fill.

Avoid Side Effects

EazyDraw supports both bitmap and vector gradients. When bitmap gradients are included in vector artwork (EPS for example) an enclosing rectangle is rendered as bitmap raster destroying the expected vector quality of a gradient's region on the drawing. This does not happen when vector gradients are used.

Full Control of Geometry

Specify an edge and center for the transition. More or less than a cycle possible, use a slider or numeric entry to overrun or under apply a color cycle. Full control of convergence point, interactively view variations of focal point of convergence.

You don't need to spend the big bucks and invest weeks in training to use these advanced computer illustration techniques. This one panel does it all-no need to mess with layers, cropping, clipping and secret keyboard hand shakes.

Precision Vector Rendering

When you use vector drawn gradients you may be certain your gradients will render just as you design them. The bitmap gradient form, the generic gradients provided by most drawing Apps, is rendered according to simplistic formula. Different platforms, and display software will likely display the gradient according to a specific mathematic interpretation of these less than precise definitions. EazyDraw's vector gradients are drawn and rendered as simple Bezier paths, so there is no ill defined interpretation step at display time. It is common to even see noticeable appearance differences from one version to the next of a rendering software package. - not a problem with EazyDraw.
