Zoom Selection The Zoom Selection button zooms in on the selected graphic(s). This button is found on the Zoom Tool Palette . The only way to use this feature is to have the palette visible on the desk top. If it is not visible, use the menu item under the "Views" menu of the Main menu to show the palette.
Zoom has no relation to the size and presentation of the document when printed. To change the actual size of the document (number of pages) you use Page Layout To change the scale or size of an individual page use Page Setup . Undo and Redo work with this action. This can be useful to quickly zoom in to view the details of a particular graphic. Then use "Control Z" to back out a wider view. This function is useful for finding invisible graphics or graphics that inadvertently end up way off the drawing. Use "Select All" (Control A), then click the Zoom Selection Button. Then the display will show the bounding area of all graphics. |
