Select From Provided Library
EazyDraw provides a large set of standard arrows, easily selected and applied to any graphic. An extensible library of custom shapes is provided standard with EazyDraw.
Use Your Own Arrow Shape
Any EazyDraw graphic may be dropped onto the Arrow palette's editing view. These shapes are easily modified in-place on the convenient editing view. Or drag an arrow shape back to an EazyDraw drawing for full editing and design modifications.
Color and Stroke
Simple arrows have their color derived from the host path. Or, independently set a fill and outline color.
Scale and Distort
A Free (Affine transform) Transform interface is provided to scale, or distort (Shear, Skew, or Rotate) the arrow shape. This transform will also let you precisely position the arrow with respect to the graphic reference point (start, end, or sequential along point).
Arrows Along Path
Much like a brush capability, apply any arrow shape along the full length of the path, not just at the end. Great for maps and instructional diagrams.
Progressive Arrows
Apply any arrow shape progressively along the path of a graphic. You have full control over the interval, either by count or spacing. Apply this capability with a Sequential progressive Free Transform for interesting spin, depth and fade effects.
Precise Tip Placement
Two methods provided for precise arrow tip placement and clean appearance. In many cases it is desired that the precise exact tip of the arrow is placed at the exact end point (line center) of the defined line or path - in the Relief mode EazyDraw makes all calculations necessary for this placement, and the host path is drawn with relief so the finite line width of the path does not print and cause an unsightly interference. The other artistic mode allows user placement of the arrow tip.
